The ng78 can handle anything from subtle mix glue to strong, forceful limiting. It has five ratio settings—2:1, 4:1, 8:1, 12:1, and 20:1, as well as the famed All-Button mode. The substantially increased attack range of up to 20 ms enables smoother transient control, while the dedicated MIX knob facilitates real-time parallel compression without additional routing. A 2:1 ratio option provides melodic nuance ideal for mastering or bus work, and dynamic link technology delivers rock-solid stereo tracking and balance. Analog depth with adjustable tone shaping A Carnhill transformer output stage provides recognizable analog weight and warmth. Switch to Saturation mode to turn off compression and control the input/output circuit for colorful harmonic augmentation or clipping effects.
