ASM Leviasynth Desktop 16-voice Hybrid Algorithmic Synthesizer

$44.51 $85.9
ASM Leviasynth Desktop Overview Take your synthesizer programming and sound design to the next level with the ASM Leviasynth Keyboard, a new hybrid algorithmic synthesizer with 16 voices, 8 oscillators per voice, a combination of analog and digital filters, a 61-note Polytouch polyphonic aftertouch keyboard, and a 4-octave ribbon controller that provides an unrivaled playing experience. The Leviasynth is also MPE-compatible. Patch programming is simple because of the colorful touchscreen and straightforward user interface. The oscillators can be organized into groups known as algorithms, which specify how they impact one another. With 144 preset algorithms and one extra algorithm that may be tweaked in each patch, you’ll never run out of ideas for your audio experiments. Furthermore, the algorithm morph function provides virtually infinite combinations for the oscillators. Each oscillator has over 300 waveforms and 7 separate oscillator modes, allowing for maximum timbral variation. The 3-track sequencer captures note and macro automation, while the arpeggiator has a new Entropy function for powerful real-time note manipulation. The free ASM Patch Manager for Mac and Windows simplifies firmware updates and patch administration. Two ways to play, a boundless instrument This giant of timbral sculpting was created to boost your sound without sacrificing your practical, spatial requirements. As a result, ASM created the Leviasynth in two stages: a 61-note keyboard and a wicked desktop module. Aside from the keybed, the two synthesizers are identical; the Polytouch’s revolutionary expressivity is used in both the keyboard’s 61 keys and the module’s 16 performance pads. This polyphonic aftertouch technology provides you with complete control over delicate embellishments, including sharp stabs, effervescent pads, striking attacks, and luxurious releases. The ASM Leviasynth is suitable for any kind of play or performance. Innovative polyfractal sonics using algorithms and oscillators. ASM has equipped the Leviasynth with seven types of synthesis: phase modulation, frequency modulation, pulse width modulation, HTE sync, and three extreme levels of phase distortion. HTE Sync, in particular, has captured the attention—and ears—of synthesists, owing to ASM’s creative engineering, which allows you to engage the intensity of oscillator-sync sonics without regard for the intricacy or symmetry of the waveforms you use. Each of the synthesizer’s 16 voices has eight oscillators, and each oscillator may be programmed in groups called Leviasynth Algorithms. With over 300 per-oscillator waveforms, 144 algorithm presets, and seven distinct oscillator modes, your combinatorial timbral-sculpting potential explodes, and the addition of one customizable patch for each algorithm broadens the Leviasynth’s palette with immensely personalized performances. Furthermore, the integrated Morph feature allows you to effortlessly and continually transmogrify your timbral soundfield, resulting in absolutely unlimited sound sculpting. Ferocious filtering, digital dynamism, and analog perfection The ASM Leviasynth’s unique filtering capabilities are what define it as a “hybrid” synthesizer. On one side, you have a tried-and-true analog array: a 4-pole, lowpass 24 dB/octave filter. On the other hand, 18 digital filters offer a wide range of lowpass, highpass, notch, bandpass, and vowel filter choices. Filter-specific cutoff and resonance parameters are augmented by pre-drive and dual-function drive/morph controls for the analog and digital filter sections, respectively, downstream of a specialized set of oscillator envelope controls. evocative expressiveness and multidimensional modulation The Leviasynth expertly incorporates ASM’s renowned Hydrasynth’s performance-focused Polytouch technology. This polyphonic aftertouch has been rigorously developed to capture the depth and intricacies of each flourish. Polytouch accuracy drives every performance, from softly releasing rich soundscape-level chords to the ultra-vibrant velocity impacts of laser-focused synth solos. Furthermore, ASM designed the Leviasynth to be completely compatible with MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE), ensuring that any MPE-capable controller may drive a wide range of multi-parameter modulation directly from your fingers. In terms of modulation, ASM went all out, endowing the Leviasynth with a constellation of waveform-warping sonic magic. The instrument’s 16 voices may each accept up to five LFOs. A suite of more than ten LFO possibilities includes sine, triangle, multi-directional saw, square, noise, random, step, and percentage-variable pulse waveforms, as well as tempo-sync and semitone-lock options to supplement your oscillation selections. Envelopes abound throughout the Leviasynth’s prismatic polyphony, enabling you to assign one envelope to each oscillator as well as five tempo-syncable envelopes for each voice, with four trigger sources to choose from. The Leviasynth keyboard (or an external controller with the Leviasynth desktop module) allows for extensive customization via the pitch bend, mod wheel, and 4-octave ribbon controller, and when combined with the 32-slot modulation matrix, you can reach stratospheric synth sonic peaks. Full 16-voice control: splits, multi-patches, and more! ASM explored every musical possibility by using the Leviasynth’s 16 voices, eight per-voice oscillators, seven oscillator modes, algorithms, digital and analog filters, expressive envelopes, evocative effects, and multimode modulation. In order to create the Leviasynth, the ultimate sound designer’s fantasy, this studio-to-stage synth snake offers two vibrant and varied voicing modes: Single and Multi. In single mode, all 16 voices are used with your patch, but in multi mode, it divides the 16 voices into two 8-voice sections across separate patches. The beautiful, full-color display acts as your primary control panel, allowing you to customize and set per-layer levels, keyboard and velocity zones, macros, effects routing, and multi-layer arpeggiation. With such wide aural possibilities, ASM’s world-class patch crafters created 512 single-mode and 256 multi-mode factory presets, with 1,024 and 640 patch places available for each mode. Performance-oriented rhythmic tools and explosive effectuation. On the performance front, the Leviasynth offers a wide range of spatial-sculpting and time-tampering capabilities. The 9-mode arpeggiator provides multidirectional, randomized chord and phrase capabilities. At the same time, nine arpeggiator-specific variables inject musical malleability into your aural output via adjustable octave, gate, swing, ratchet, chance, and other behaviors, including the new-to-Leviasynth entropy parameter. ASM has a 3-track sequencer that records a polyphonic note track, an automation data track, and a separate macro track for each patch, with the latter supporting up to eight lanes of per-macro automation. Furthermore, the sequencer’s 128-step mode adds to the sequencer’s versatile recording and sound-engine routing capabilities, which include incoming MIDI, Series, and Parallel playback, sending CV and MIDI track information to external devices at the same time, and a variety of per-step, per-track step-sequencing behaviors. In terms of texturization and temporal shaping, the Leviasynth’s polychromic effects engine is a haymaker of high-octane sonic engineering, with nine insert effects, five delays, and four reverbs. Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Rotary, Lo-Fi, Tremolo, EQ, Compressor, and Distortion are among the effects available in four modules. Diverse per-effect parameters do double duty as routing destinations inside the mod matrix, providing unparalleled tactile control via the mod wheel, ribbon controller, Polytouch inputs, and MPE. In addition to editing tracks in the sequencer, the Leviasynth’s ribbon controller has a Theremin mode for more timbral versatility. Furthermore, when you need to unleash the full potential of ’80s-style digital dynamism, the built-in Vintage mode is the answer. Complete connection for any setup. By now, it’s undoubtedly evident that the Leviasynth is a masterpiece in concentrated yet adaptable performing power, masterfully balancing diverse multipurpose features with an identifiable sound personality. In other words, the Levisynth’s design is purposeful, intentional, and carefully constructed to enhance every facet of its audial habitat. To achieve this, a connection is required. A 2-in, 5-out array of 1/8-inch CV and Gate connectors allows for two lanes of modulation input and output, in addition to the pitch, gate, and clock outputs. A quartet of rear-mounted 1/4-inch ports supports stereo audio output and has separate Sustain and Expression pedal inputs. Three 5-pin MIDI connections cover In, Out, and Thru options, while a USB Type-B port is fully class-compliant, expanding the synth’s namesake hybridity to include nearly limitless software and DAW-driven possibilities, as well as access to the free ASM Patch Manager from your Mac or PC.
